Cable Rack Rungs

The rungs of cable rack are the section of material in between the Side Bars. It is what the cable is tied to. Newton offers three types of cable rack rungs.

Rung Shapes

Newton offers 3 different shaped Rungs; Channel, Bar and Trough.

Channel Type
Auxiliary Framing Channel profile

Channel type rungs consist of "C" shaped bars in between the side bars.

Bar Type

Bar type rungs consist of flat bars in between the side bars.

Trough Type

Trough rungs create a deeper container for labeling to rest in and extra areas to tie off strands. -- Add_SomeStuff

9/16″ pre-drilled holes

You can order the Cable Rack pre-drilled for a more ridged or Seismic application. Pre-drilled Cable Rack has two 9-1/6″ hole drilled in each end of both the Side Bars. Newton has Splice and junction kits for both, standard and seismic applications.
